Behavioral Health Initiative
The Behavioral Health Initiative (BHI) launched in Spring 2022 with a goal to explore innovative ways to strengthen the workforce in response to the behavioral health crisis in Washington County. Since then, VAN has led collaborative work with behavioral health providers on developing recruitment and hiring pathways and strategies and has partnered with culturally-specific providers to build their capacity to serve the behavioral health needs of the Latinx community in Washington County and beyond.
